| Hammer toe
crest pads help relieve hammer, claw or mallet toes. These painful
conditions are foot deformities that cause one (or more) of the toes
curl under on itself and lose the ability to extend. The cause of
hammer, claw or mallet toes can stem from a lack of proper foot and
arch support but it can also result from consistently wearing shoes
(Especially running and dress shoes) in a size that is too small.
The most common result of a hammer, claw or mallet toe is the development
of friction related problems such as corns, callous, blisters and
general rubbing and chafing. These hammertoe crest pads help by supporting
a bent under toe while easing pressure on the toe tips and reducing
the strain on the metatarsal joint. |

Hammer toe
crest pads loop over the problem toe with an elastic band that passes
through one side and out the bottom. The elastic band can be pulled
from the bottom to tighten the fit. These hammertoe crest pads are
made from synthetic material and can be hand washed in sudsy, lukewarm
water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry completely before re-using. People
with diabetes or poor circulation should consult a physician before
using Hammer Toe Crest Pads.
