The Protocrest Gel Hammertoe Crest Pad stands alone as a truly unique hammertoe crest pad. It’s crest pad is robust and effectively supports the toes but what makes this hammer toe crest pad completely unique is that instead of a small loop or band to secure the crest pad to the toe, the Protocrest pad has a remarkable full length gel toe cap that completely covers and protects both the top knuckle and the tip of the toe from rubbing and abrasion.

The Protocrest toe cap has a slight downward angle so it fits easily and comfortably over a curled hammertoe. Also, the tip of the toe cap has a cut line on it so if a closed toe cap is not desired but an open toe sleeve is, the tip of the toe can be cut off. It will still protect the top knuckle but will allow the toe to breathe a little more.

The Protocrest gel hammer toe crest pad comes in three sizes which do, to a certain degree reflect the wearers shoe size but in addition each size is meant to be worn on a specific toe such as size large for the second toe and size medium for the third toe. There is a complete size/toe chart listed below.
