Gel Heel
Cushions are a beveled 3/8 inch thick wedge of silicone gel with
a back rim that cradles and cushions the heel. The blue spot in
the middle is a plug of lighter density silicone that provides extra
cushioning to the most sensitive area of the heel, the center.
Gel Heel Cushions are
very comfortable and can help ease the nagging ach of heel pain.
They can be used alone or in combination with an arch support (usually
on top). People suffering from heel pain will definitely appreciate
the cushioning and shock absorption that these gel heel cushions
provide but they are also very comfortable for people who stand
on their feet for long periods of time or who work on very hard
surfaces.
Gel heel
cushions will fit into most athletic and casual shoes. They will also
fit into most men’s dress shoes but will probably not work to
well in many women’s dress shoes and dress heels. Gel heel cushions
are not meant to be used as a lift to correct for leg length discrepancies.
